2022-2023 Thelma Parks Elementary Girls

Chums Cheryl Pennington, Marsha Lyons, Sharon Turner, Krystal Robinson-Hershey and Loraine Liggins mentor five girls who were on a behavior plan. They have a curriculum to follow to help them learn to manage their feelings and be happy. The theme for January was kindness. The theme for December was money. They do activities and write stories. The girls were cautious at first and now they are come in asking for hugs and wanting to know the plan. Everyone is enjoying it.
